The Helga Otto Haub School and William D. Ruckelshaus Institute of Environment and Natural Resources is a program that brings multiple academic disciplines and diverse stakeholders together to address complex issues related to the environment and natural resources (ENR) in the Rocky Mountain west. The University of Wyoming is seeking a leader to guide the School and Institute and build upon its reputation as a leading interdisciplinary center addressing critical ENR issues and offering innovative undergraduate and graduate education. The Director will report to the Vice President for Academic Affairs. We seek an energetic leader with proven intellectual and administrative skills who will work with the faculty in contributing academic units and advance the stature of the Haub School and Ruckelshaus Institute as one of the world's top institutions in ENR issues. The Director must represent the School and Institute effectively to the university administration, the Ruckelshaus Institute advisory board, external constituents concerned with ENR issues, state and national political leadership, and to the public.
Preferred qualifications include: 1) an earned doctorate, or a combination of education and experience appropriate for a tenurable appointment in any of ENR's cooperating disciplinary departments; 2) an internationally recognized record of teaching and research in environment and natural resources; 3) administrative experience that demonstrates vision, managerial ability, and communication skills; 4) the creative leadership needed to create synergy with other university programs and with outside interests; 5) sensitivity to the ENR issues confronting the Rocky Mountain West; and 6) a commitment to integrating academics, research excellence, effective outreach, and constructive collaborative engagement of multiple stakeholder interests.

Bucknell University
Environmental Studies Program
Visiting Assistant Professor in Environmental Studies
The Environmental Studies Program at Bucknell University is accepting applications for a one-year visiting position to teach policy-oriented undergraduate courses in environmental studies during the 2008-09 academic year. A completed or nearly completed Ph.D. with an environmental policy focus in either political science, public policy, or environmental studies is required. Teaching experience is desirable.
Teaching responsibilities of the faculty member would include an introductory environmental studies core course, a course in environmental politics and policy, environmental justice, and related courses in the candidates particular areas of expertise (for total of three courses per semester).
Bucknell is a private liberal arts institution with a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching. The Environmental Studies Program was started in 1979. A BS and a BA are offered. The curriculum draws upon the breadth of offerings at Bucknell in sciences, social sciences, engineering, and humanities.

Antioch University New England, Keene, NH Economics Instructor
Antioch University New England is seeking an instructor in micro economics and ecological economics. This is an adjunct position to be taught at our Keene, NH campus. Preference will be given to applicants who are able to develop these two courses sequentially.
Antioch launched the Green MBA, a degree in MBA in Environmental and Organizational Sustainability in summer 2007. Online details about the program.
The Green MBA program is structured as a cohort, adult learning model. Our students work full time and participate in a weekend instructional program; there are online components but instruction is face to face. Students come to Keene, NH from all over the country for five weekends a semester and spend Friday-Sunday in a total immersion of their courses. The economics classes are taught on Friday afternoons. This is a a 2 year MBA with two semesters of practicum. The economics courses are taught during the first year of the MBA program.
Applicants should have the following minimum requirements:
- Masters level or PhD degree in economics
- Teaching experience in ecological economics
- Demonstrated commitment to teaching graduate level courses and understanding of adult learning theory
- Commitment to sustainability education and experiential education
