University of Idaho Assistant/Associate Professor of Natural Resource Economics
The University of Idaho, Moscow College of Natural Resources is currently accepting applications for an Assistant/Associate Professor of Natural Resource Economics in the Department of Conservation Social Sciences. This tenure track position is a full-time academic year permanent appointment in the pay range of $68,000-73,000.
Minimum Qualifications: Completed Ph.D. in natural resource economics at the time of starting the position; ability to compete for external funding; ability to publish research in refereed journals; and demonstrated interest in teaching undergraduate and graduate courses. Demonstrated success in applying social science to natural resource economics and management, experience in working across diverse disciplines; strong analytical skills; potential to advise undergraduate students and mentor graduate students.
Preferred Qualifications: Able to teach undergraduate and graduate courses effectively; experience and education in an area such as natural resource economics or other social or policy science related field; skill in verbal and written communication; demonstrated success in publishing in refereed journals; experience in statistical analysis and interpretation of data.
