Advancing a just and sustainable society within the biophysical limits of global ecosystems

JASM 2022 Grand Rapids, Michigan
Soliciting Presentations on Collaboration between Economists and Ecologists

Soliciting Presentations on Collaboration between Economists and Ecologists

December 14, 2021

A session at the Joint Aquatic Sciences Meeting is being organized (see the session “Collaborations between ecologists and economists to improve aquatic ecosystem management.”). The organizers are most interested in seeing submissions from others who have worked to create a common understanding of the biophysical units at the intersection of ecology and economics, to promote better communication with interested publics and to provide more certain and defensible tradeoff decisions and benefits analyses.

Deadline for abstract submissions is January 10, 2022. The meeting will be held in Grand Rapids, Michigan, May 14–20. This meeting will  employ a hybrid meeting model to create an exciting in-person event, but also provide for submission and access to content for those unable to travel to Grand Rapids.
