Funded Forestry PhD
The Division of Forestry and Natural Resources (DFNR) at West Virginia University is seeking applicant for a PhD in Natural Resources Science who will be trained in climate-smart forestry through forest carbon management (focusing on policy, economics, social or ecological aspects). This is part of a fellowship grant received from the USDA National Needs Graduate and Postgraduate Fellowship (NNF) Grants Program. The goal of this fellowship is to recruit and train multidisciplinary and diverse professionals in climate-smart forestry (CSF) through a graduate education that focuses on forest carbon management and sustainable biomaterials.
