Postdoc Analyzing Ecological Drought Risk

The U.S. Forest Service’s Southern Research Station is looking to hire a post-doctoral researcher to analyze the factors that influence forest impacts from drought and assist in creating a risk framework that can be applied to rapidly assess the potential for forest impact from drought. The successful candidate will join an interdisciplinary team comprised of scientists from the U.S. Forest Service and North Carolina State University. Candidates at the post-masters and established scientists may also be considered depending on skills and experience.

Mid-career fellowship opportunity with Harvard Forest, a Long-Term Ecological Research Site in north central Massachusetts. If your research is related to forest resource management (broadly defined), land use change and/or conservation –  consider the Bullard Fellowship. It is a 6-12 month residency with a stipend, which can be based at the Harvard Forest or associated with other departments and centers at Harvard. See more below.
