Postdoc Analyzing Ecological Drought Risk
The U.S. Forest Service’s Southern Research Station is looking to hire a post-doctoral researcher to analyze the factors that influence forest impacts from drought and assist in creating a risk framework that can be applied to rapidly assess the potential for forest impact from drought. The successful candidate will join an interdisciplinary team comprised of scientists from the U.S. Forest Service and North Carolina State University. Candidates at the post-masters and established scientists may also be considered depending on skills and experience.
