Postdoctoral Researcher: Drinking Water & Human Well-being

January 20, 2023

We invite applications for a postdoctoral research associate to work with Dr. David Keiser at UMass Amherst, starting Fall 2023. The position is funded by a National Institutes of Health grant and administered through the National Bureau of Economic Research. The successful candidate will contribute to efforts to measure the impact of drinking water on human well-being. As part of these efforts, the candidate will work closely with other grant collaborators, Drs. Bhash Mazumder (Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago), David Molitor (Illinois and NBER), and Joseph Shapiro (UC Berkeley and NBER). The candidate will also work closely with a second postdoctoral research associate housed at the University of Illinois and NBER. Funding is available for 2 years, conditional on NIH funding and satisfactory performance in the previous year. Additional details and required qualifications can be found on the application website.

For full consideration, applications are due February 6, 2023 and review will continue until the position is filled. The start date is September 1, 2023.  Questions can be addressed to David Keiser at dkeiser@umass.edu.
