Position description: The Department of Agricultural, Food, and Resource Economics (AFRE) at Michigan State University invites applications for a full‐time, 9-month, tenure track Assistant Professor with a 60% research and 40% extension assignment. The anticipated start date is August 15, 2024.
The successful candidate will join a team supervised by Prof. Carson Reeling on a project in partnership with the Indiana Department of Natural Resources. The appointed Post-Doctoral Research Associate will lead the development and administration of surveys, derive appropriate theoretical and empirical approaches for analyzing survey data, and assist in preparing journal publications. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to analyze existing data from recently-administered surveys and lead the development of research outputs (including peer-reviewed journal publications and extension articles) from this data.
