Fishery Management Specialist
The Northwest Fisheries Science Center is looking for a natural resource management specialist to perform the following major duties:
- Collect, analyze, and visualize data related to the costs and benefits of salmon recovery actions and the preferences and incentives of private stakeholders related to salmon recovery actions.
- Engage recovery partners to assess the impediments to private stakeholder participation in salmon recovery efforts, and contribute to the collection and analysis of data to identify recovery strategies that incentivize private stakeholder participation.
- Contribute to the development of methods for estimating the costs of different types of salmon recovery actions through analysis of empirical data on recovery costs and information obtained from recovery practitioners.
